HAHA! I read the comic - it was hilarious :') But I'll still reread the book like a creepy obsessed minion because it's so detailed. That's what I love about Patrick Rothfuss' writing; it's so dense and poetic and three-dimensional but accessible. You feel the world though the words. It's brilliant.
We have this theory that I bought my brother Ashley off e-Bay, so perhaps something dodgy came with him. Probably a malware lure, so every computer he touches is automatically condemned. And since Nathan does a load of downloading (malware feeds off the residual energy from the downloading process) they've begun to associate him with food and that's another reason they keep coming in. Perhaps I need to conduct some scientific research on the matter...
I'd take my sleeping A-Level again. I passed my GCSE with flying colours. It was when I got into college that I became insomniac/semi-nocturnal.
'How long did it take for you to get settled into a routine?' - I can't remember exactly - between two weeks and a month when I wasn't working with pressure. Doing NaNoWriMo, I just snapped right into it. Outside of NaNo, there's no pressure to finish and that's what I think causes my lack of progress.
I'd say just force yourself. Don't neglect oher commitments like work or school, obviously, but set some time aside for writing. And then make yourself write. :P
