I did this meme ages ago and thought it might be interesting to do it again, to see how I've changed these last two years.

1- Elaborate on your default icon.
It's a section taken from the cover of a psychedelic compilation album called 'Insane Times', which is named after the wonderful Kevin Ayers' tune 'Song for Insane Times'.

2- What's your current relationship status?
Once again, not single! And again, I think someone's been fiddling with reality... probably my characters. The bastards.

3- Ever have a near-death experience?
Oh, let's see. I've lost count of the amount of times I've nearly been killed crossing the street. My home town (Portadown) has been bombed a couple of times - the first of which happened when I was a baby, shook a window loose, it swung shut and narrowly missed my head. That would have easily killed me. I nearly suffocated on calor gas as well when it was leaking in my Mum's motor home. And I've nearly choked on an ice cube when I was six.

4- Name an obvious quality you have.
I have a face. It's very facial in its appearance.

5- What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
'Song for Insane Times, because I mentioned it in the first question!

6- Any celeb you would marry?
I wouldn't. I'd just kidnap them all and keep them in my attic for a laugh.

7- Who will cut and paste this first?
Nobody.

8- Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
Yep. Like the old meme said, someone said Amy Lee (still don't get that - I have the skin/hair and that's it) and Clare Danes, who played Juliet in that horrible modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. Other than that, I think I'm just like me.

9- Do you wear a watch? What kind?
I did, but it broke while I was doing my residential with The Prince's Trust. It was really pretty and my Mum's neighbour got it from Australia.

10- Do you have anything pierced?
ONLY MY SOUL.

11- Do you have any tattoos?
Nope. And still debating.

12- Do you like pain?
I like that there thing that's the opposite of pain. Does that count?

13- Do you like to shop?
Don't get me started on shopping. As soon as I have money, it's gone!

14- What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
A small portion of chips and curry, with a can of coke. Hell yeah.

15- What was the last thing you paid for with your credit card?
Er... I think it was Steve Hillage's 'Live Herald'. I bought it on CD because I have the vinyl and I love it.

16- Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
Jason. I believe it was on Wednesday, when I was waiting for him in Victoria Square.

17- What is on your desktop background?
This:

I like putting ridiculous stuff as my background because my computer is in the dining room. People walk past the computer, see that and die laughing. It's really my way of taking out the world's population, one by one.

18- What is the background on your cell phone?
Nothing. My phone, which I now have, has rendered backgrounds, ringtones and other personalised stuff impossible.

19- Do you like redheads?
Love them, and don't understand the dislike. Red hair is gorgeous.

20- Do you know any twins?
None that aren't family. I have Natalie and Graham on Dad's side, and Adam and Aaron on Mum's, all of which are cousins. My older sister Gail should have been a twin but unfortunately the twin didn't survive. There used to be some twins in school and sixth form, as well.

21- Do you have any weird relatives?
We're all mad here.

22- What was the last movie you watched?
'Mr Deeds', starring Adam Sandler. It was brilliant!

23- What was the last book you read?
I think it was 'The Time Machine' by H. G. Wells. If not, it was 'Carry On, Jeeves' by P. G. Wodehouse. My reading has slipped somewhat lately.

24- Is there such a thing as love at first sight, or it is more likely to be "lust at first sight"?
It's more likely to be 'lust' first, 'love' later. You can't build love on a first glance; it takes ages of getting to know someone; their merits and flaws, and only if you can accept all those aspects and get past them does it come anywhere near being 'love'. That's my theory; I'm only young.

25- What's your favorite book?
'The Rotter's Club' by Jonathan Coe. My kind of music gets referenced here there and everywhere. The characters feel like real people that you get genuinely attached to, the plot is realistic and gripping and the whole book is an interesting, believable rendition of what life was like in the 1970's. I barely scratch the surface of how awesome it is, but I think I make a decent summary.

26- When was the last time you visited the street where you first lived?
Last summer. I finally managed to visit Ireland and we drove past the house where I grew up.

27- When was the last time you googled your own name?
A few years ago, and I got a pretty odd result: 'Kelsey goes to France!'. Apparently I missed the memo that said I was going a-gallivanting in the Land of Champagne.

28- What was/is your favorite subject at school?
Still a tie between Art and English Literature.

29 -What was/is your least favorite subject at school?
Maths, and PE. I can't say I hate Music any more because I've recently taken up the guitar again and I'm loving it. English Language in Sixth Form was just down to a dull teacher; the subject itself was quite fascinating.

30- Do you like having your photograph taken?
I'm not as bad as I used to be, but generally I prefer to be behind the lens.

31- What time were you born?
May the 21st, 1992 at 9:27am on a Thursday. Never could get the hang of Thursdays.

32- Ever seriously questioned your sanity?
Of course. To question your sanity is to be human.

33- How many phone numbers do you have remembered and can say off the top of your head?
I can remember my home and mobile number, and Laura's home phone. Beyond that, I have to check the contact list on my phone.

34- Can you Limbo?
I can jump over the limbo stick and claim to be avant-garde!

35- Have you ever killed your own dinner?
All the time. I'm the worst cook ever. I also killed the oven once, just to be thorough.

36- How long have you been living at your current residence?
Two years. We finally got away from Beth Ave!

37- What phobias do you have?
I'm terrified of failure, slugs and snails and cucumbers.

38- What's your ideal breakfast?
A bowl of Weetabix and a glass of pure orange juice. Followed by about four cups of tea.

39- Where are you right now?
In my happy place, as per usual!

40- Why do you blog?
To record memories, to rant and to be egomaniacal.

41- What would you call your autobiography?
The Cunning Stunts of Sir Kelsalot.

42- What's the longest time you've stayed out of the country/where?
I've been to Nowhere and it was a lovely trip. Over far too quickly, though. I was only there for 0.0 seconds.

43- Do you use ICQ, AIM, etc..?
I don't even use MSN anymore. I use Twitter, which is the closest thing you'll get to instant messaging.

44- Do you have nightmares frequently?
Another answer that hasn't changed much. I very rarely have nightmares. What I do have - well, I can't even describe. Weird, baffling, surreal and often quite trippy ventures into some realm in my subconscious mind. My dreams are really odd.

45- If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
It depends on the person I'd be. I'd probably be baffled by this weirdo in the silly hat.

46- Which TV character could you be friends with?
Still The Doctor, still Jack O'Neill from Stargate and Twoflower... plus, I think I'd fit right in if somebody zapped me into 'A Town Called Eureka'. I'd probably annoy everyone at first but they'd grow to tolerate me.

47- What's on your mouse pad?
Even my mouse pad isn't on my mouse pad. *doesn't have a mouse pad*

48- What is your ring tone?
It was 'Underdub' by Hatfield and the North... until my phone ate it.

49- What did you watch on TV last night?
V (2010), and Nathan playing Half Life 2.

50- Scary movies or happy endings?
Both are equally good to have the piss taken out of them.
