Whew! After a good two hours of work, I've finished the book cover! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...

If ever you run across this book in your local shop, I highly recommend you turn the other way and find the Terry Pratchett section instead.

I'm glad you think so :D I wasn't sure, myself (I find the tower blocks and phone box a bit out-of-place), but it seems to have worked :)

Thank ye muchly!

That's pretty amazing! I think the only thing that makes them seem out of place is the row of buildings in the background under your name. Otherwise, it'd look more like a real landscape. But even as it is, it looks pretty awesome. I can see it so easily as a real book.

Now, you just need to finish it and publish it. Be sure it hits the American market or have some way for me to purchase one here, alright? :D

Oh by the way: my favorite part is the phone hanging down from the name with the quote. It makes me smile and it just looks so natural.

You know, as natural as a phone hanging down from the letter S could be...

I think the row of buildings is probably what makes it look so odd. But now I'm debating whether it's odd in a good way or a bad way. It might be fitting because the content of the book itself is pretty ridiculous anyway.

See, I added the bottom row to make the very bottom of the cover look more interesting, rather than having it just plain. :P

If I take advantage of the CreateSpace offer, I think it'll mean that people can buy it irrespective of where they are. Copies get sold through Amazon, I believe. I'll let you know :)

Neato! If I saw this in a book store, I'd definitely stop to read.

It's more of a knack for being hungry. I bribe myself with food and it persuades me to do stuff.

Glad you like it! <3

What's this? A spot of financial trouble? Has one of your tutors been kidnapped by ninjas who want ONE - MILLION - DOLLERUUUU?! (Sorry, the Futurama reference had to be done...)

Glad you like it? :P

I'm as excited as a very excited person who's got a special reason to be excited!

(Don't give me that look, you were asking for it.)

I may be in danger of exploding when the actual book comes with it. Uhm.

At this point I will not mention that I'm planning to take full advantage of the NaNoWriMo CreateSpace offer, which means the first draft will be published in some way. But I think I'll also just turn it into a PDF for people who want to read it :)

I'm also considering scanning in all my handwritten pages to be turned into a PDF, so people can get the scribblings, the doodles, the frantic 'I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE' notes in the margin, and all the crossings out. Could be fun! :P

YAY PDF. Can't wait for the scanned version *excited*

Yeah, I was thinking of putting both scanned and typed versions in the same volume. From now on, I think I'll use red pen to cross out omissions and make tweakings; then you'll still be able to see the sort-of-original version and mock it :P

Just need to figure out which version of the novel will come first in the PDF. Typed first, then scanned after for comparison? Scanned then typed because it's chronological, that way?

Thank you :D Apparently the two hours' slaving over a mildly warm copy of an obsolete graphics program has paid off.

Now, to reward myself... with cheap lasagne! *Fable II-esque victory arm pump*

Thank you! I'm glad a lot of people like it. As I said in a comment above, I was unsure about it.

Then again, I'm unsure about a lot of stuff I do. Perhaps I should just ignore the voices, get stuff done and let THE PEOPLE decide. :P

Same here, maybe I need to do that too :) Give it to the people!
